About Me

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I am devoted to helping clients find grounding during times of transition, growth during times of stagnation, and a belief in self during times of hardship. My purpose is to help clients reclaim their sense of agency, come into contact with their inner resourcefulness, and find their purpose through a collaborative, person-centered therapeutic relationship and evidence-driven behavioral therapy. Having a past as a dancer and yoga teacher, I also enjoy incorporating somatic practices to help clients bridge the mind-body dichotomy together when healing from trauma.

I have worked with clients ranging from early adolescence to elder adults. I began my clinical work as a school therapist-in-training to young girls who presented with suicidality, self-harm, eating disorders, and complex family issues, including but not limited to divorce. I have also worked at a community mental health clinic supporting clients with challenges ranging from undiagnosed mood disorders to severe substance abuse.

I specialize in working with female adolescents and young adults struggling with body image, self-esteem, eating disorders, anxiety, thought disorders, and/or substance abuse. As someone who has personally overcome substance abuse and an eating disorder, I offer both professional knowledge and deep empathy that comes with shared experience. I also specialize as a support for family members who are enduring the trauma associated with a loved one who is in the grips of addiction.
