About Me

I am an African American woman therapist based in Los Angeles, and I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to foster understanding, healing, and growth. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can openly explore their experiences and navigate their path forward with confidence.

With experience working with survivors of complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and those navigating life’s many transitions, I specialize in supporting individuals and families as they confront mental health challenges. I’m particularly passionate about helping people of color break free from intergenerational cycles of trauma, offering a strengths-based approach that honors resilience and growth. I also work with clients facing religious trauma, those adjusting to life transitions, and families coping with the impact of mental health diagnoses.

I take a holistic, strength-based approach to therapy that emphasizes cultural understanding and the importance of embracing your authentic self. I believe in meeting you where you are, with empathy, encouragement, and a sense of humor as we navigate your toughest challenges and brightest moments. My therapeutic style draws from a variety of approaches—Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and somatic therapies—all tailored to support your unique journey toward healing.
